Front Desk Administrator

This position report to our Director of Business Operations and is based in Neptec’s Ottawa facility. It is a part time permanent position providing reception and administrative support afternoons, Monday to Friday.
Basic Duties:
- Front Desk activities including: switchboard, greeting and registering visitors; faxes and mail; appointment bookings; courier shipments; ordering for lunch hour meetings
- General administration assistance included but not limited to typing, filing, data entry
- Managing calendar entries for all company conference rooms
- Ensuring security regulations are followed and that building is secure for the night before leaving for the day.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule and duties when the need arises
Education and Experience:
- High School completion
- Approximately 1-2 yrs experience in Front Desk or Office administration
Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Organization strengths
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong abilities in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Willingness to be flexible and take initiative
- Good independent worker
The successful candidate must be a Canadian or US citizen, fulfill requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program and have, or be able to attain, a Canadian Security Clearance at the Level II/Secret Level.
